Title Revolutionary Motorsports System - interpreted graphical macro-language software for parallel processing hardware with intelligent peripherals
Technological Area ICT
Application Field Automotive
Summary This project aims the development of a software component of a global parallel processing control-unit system with intelligent peripherals, destined to automotive motorsports and eventually arise interest in the automotive industry (BOSCH). This software will allow to program, debug, simulate and manage "the motronic" functions of an internal combustion engine, as well as to have a range of management, supervision and configuration functions in the scope of the complete system. This project will have an important measure of artificial intelligence that will substitute most of the software decision and processes currently carried out by experienced programmers. The heart of the whole system resides in a graphical macro-language which will be interpreted by a kernel that is present in each one of the parallel processors. The main aim of this project, besides creating a totally new package concerning software and hardware in the automotive scene, is achieving a system which is a little revolution of concepts, and that partially solves major problems in this area which relate to the lack of flexibility, impossible scalation, lack of inteligent mechanisms which may release some of the burden of improductive work, excess of legacy processes and a huge amount of time and money necessary for even for the simplest operations.
